BIG NEWS!!!!!

For those who haven’t heard the news yet…Miles and I are pregnant!!!! We are beyond excited and I promise I will be better about updating this blog to keep everyone up to date on my pregnancy. We found out on March 14th and kept it a secret for a few weeks until Easter. On Easter we told my (Alli) parents and then the next weekend we told Miles’ parents. Everyone was thrilled and so happy for us. We are the first on both sides to have a baby so we just made three new sets of grandparents! Our first doctor appointment was today, and everything looks perfect! I measured a week earlier than I thought I was so that makes our due date Nov 25th. It’ll be an exciting Thanksgiving this year! Seeing the baby actually moving around, and seeing and hearing the heart beat was one of the most amazing experiences in our lives! Miles and I were definitely teary eyed! I can’t believe the tiny miracle God has given to us. Here is a picture of my "baby belly". It's hardly noticeable but I want to take weekly pictures for a fun comparison!

***8 Weeks!!***
Here's a cool questionnaire I found on another blog...I'll try to update every week or so!

How far along? 8 weeks

Maternity clothes? No, but my pants are getting a little tight. Time to start using a rubber band to make my normal pants last a little longer.

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: I’m actually starting to get more energy back instead of going to bed at 9:30 every night. I’ve been sleeping pretty well the last few nights with just a few trips to the bathroom.

Best moment this week: Seeing our little nugget during our first ultrasound today!! And of course seeing/hearing the heartbeat! I can’t believe I have a baby cooking away inside me!

Miss Anything? Not gagging at the sight of anything slightly gross.

Movement: Not yet

Food Cravings: In the last few weeks I’ve wanted nothing to do with grease but last night I wanted some salty greasy french fries! No weird cravings yet though.

Anything making you queasy or sick: If I let my stomach get empty I get queasy. Also the sight of anything gross makes me gag. Example: I clean up dog puke all the time with having 4 dogs…no big deal. A few days ago I see dog puke and within 2 minutes I had puked. Not fun!

Gender: Won’t know til around 20 weeks. I want to know now!

Labor Signs: No

Symptoms: Just the random queasiness.

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Ecstatic!!!…We’re having a baby! But I’m sure Miles would say I’m pretty moody…hehehe.

Looking forward to: My stomach getting bigger so people can actually tell I’m pregnant. I’m so excited for every step of the process!! We are so blessed!

***The baby is laying upside down and you can see the 2 arms and 2 legs. So perfect!!***
